- การใช้ used to do ( เคยทำในอดีต ไม่เกิดขึ้นในปัจจุบัน)
- Be used to doing /someone/something (คุ้นเคยกับการทำ)
- Get used to doing /someone/something (ปรับตัวให้คุ้นเคย)
- การใช้ used to do ( เคยทำในอดีตแต่ปัจจุบันไม่ได้ทำแล้ว) :
Used to + infinitive (in the past)
เช่น
- When I was a postman , I used to walk miles every day.
- We didn’t use to play that game when we were young.
- I used to smoke , but I have been giving it up for ten years.
- We didn’t use to have a computer.
- Did you use to go to London? Yes, I did .
